The Mathematics Department

Mathematics as a subject has enabled learners to interact with daily activities in different ways. The mathematics panel has eight active and able members. Mathematics in the school has been divided into three groups according to the level of learners’ understanding from classes 6-8.

As panel members we have come up with different activities that are done both indoor and outdoor activities that are running from may 2021- 2022 march e.g interclass exam, mathematics contests to be done at school level and even compete with other students from other schools, coming up with mathematics corner that enables teachers and pupils to come up with some mathematics formulae and do practicals. 

We are also doing mathematics after lunch to do away with the negative attitude towards the subject. Since the lower primary are on a new curriculum as a panel we are trying to make sure that all the practical activities are and saved for future use.
